What's good for the environment is good for you! Our new water filter proves that: Nature is spared plastic waste, you are spared having to carry water bottles and you gain additional space and weight advantages in your motor home, which in turn saves on fuel and exhaust fumes.

The water filter fully complies with the requirements of the German Drinking Water Directive. It filters sand, suspended solids, microplastics, heavy metals and 99.99 % of bacteria as well as unpleasant tastes or discolouration out of tap water. And the pressure loss caused by the filter is easily compensated for by the submersible pump (included) with its powerful 1.4 bar. 

Every SUNLIGHT vehicle can be easily retrofitted with the filter, and the installation location can also be discussed individually with the dealer when purchasing a new vehicle. 

Before commissioning, you should run approximately 3-5 l of water through the filter. If it hasn't been used for a while, it's immediately ready for use again after a short rinse. The filter should be changed after 6 months or 5,000 litres consumption. Important: The filter must be removed in winter and kept in a frost-free location.
